1958- Born in Kapar, Malaysia

1980-Studied Photography under the tutorship of the late Mr Richard Farrand, a Fellow member of the Royal Photographic Society (FRPS) and British Institute of Professional Photographers.

1983-Awarded Gold medal and Bronze medal in the 16th Malaysia International Salon of Photography.

-Photographic works selected for the 26th New Zealand International Salon of Photography.

1984- Photographic works accepted for exhibition in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

-Move to Singapore

1987: Received the Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain.

1989: Received the Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain.

1991: Established Portrait Master Studio in Singapore

1994: Started ink painting under the influence of famous Chinese painter Chen Shizhong

1999: Invited by National Institute of Education and Nanyang Technological University to lecture on Portraiture

2000: Featured as a successful, high-end photographic studio by The New Paper

2001: Selected as one of four photographers to be featured in TV program aired on Arts Central on Portrait Photography.

2006: Graduated with a Master’s degree in Contemporary Practice, University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom.

2013: First successful solo exhibition of contemporary ink paintings at Hao Zhen Gallery, Singapore.
